They are startlingly accurate. True story: One time I was supposed to catch an early flight for a trip for work, so I had to get up at 4:00 a.m. to get to the airport on time. Somehow I'd forgotten to set my alarm clock, but the cats woke me up shortly after 4:00. It was the weirdest thing because they'd never, pestered me that early, and never did again - but if they hadn't that time I'd have missed my flight. I don't know how they knew, but they did.
