Anyone used Geico Car Buying Service? If so, how was your experience?

1. Its a "truecar" platform

You can go right to their website, or use dozens of companies that use Truecar pricing. But its all the same. Truecar lets you price a car for a price the dealer is willing to sell it for. Its a good price. You could do better going and fighting, but its hardly a bad deal. In fact, most I know think its a good deal. I use it as a starting point. I do the Truecar pricing, go to my local dealer and tell him to beat it by some amount, usually $200-$300. I bought my last car by this method. Good luck.

2. Obviously is the car's price point is high, the discounts are better

If yo are buying a $40,000 car, there is far more of a margin than a $15,000 car, so the dealer can give you a better deal. Research is key.

3. Are you a AAA member, by chance?

AAA Carolinas has a great car-buying service. Just tell them what you want, and they'll get it for you, usually at fleet rates. They also sell pre-owned cars. They'll deliver it right to your door, and will even finance it for you at a really good rate, if you want. I think it's still free to AAA members, so worth the price of a membership to not have to haggle with car dealers. The folks in the buyers service are nice people. At least they were when I bought my car from them.

4. AAA uses the Truecar platform

Its the exact same platform he is using now. AAA is a great program and has good financing partners. I would encourage anyone to join, but the car buying just uses the same program he is currently using.
