I was a tot when they were in their prime, but I grew up appreciating stellar prog rock like Yes. Who wouldn't love Rick Wakeman and his billowing cape?

that was the song that made me fall in love with live music. I was so blown away by Starship ( their closing) I realized I wanted to see all my favorite songs live.

I have been listening to them ever since. Some incarnations I prefer over others but overall a fabulous band.

One of my favorite albums doesn't even had Jon Anderson on vocals - Drama.

or less attention than they deserved. Now that music is nearly new to me. I'm speaking of Dylan and The Grateful Dead. I've also gained a new appreciation for The Who.

This is like finding a treasure chest. So I can fully appreciate what you are saying about Yes kicking your ass. Yes has kicked my ass many times.

Additional ass kicking.
