Although the closing scene 'special effects' of going out the door with the chute opening fast into a vertical drop could use some work by today's standards.

MGM and TCM have had some good oldy films on lately. Spig Weid's "Crash Dive" (1941) with Errol Flynn and Fred McMurray was on last night showing the development oxygen/pressure systems for high altitude flight. Good stuff.

parachuting back for another go.

Ever see the remake with Peter O'Toole called Rogue Male? Not bad but since it was made 30 years after the war not quite as much patriotic fervor.
