College World Series: How shallow am I?

It's Vanderbilt versus Virginia in a rematch of last year's championship, won in 2014 by Vanderbilt. Ordinarily, I wouldn't care a whole lot, I just want to see a good game. But Virginia is wearing some kind of faux camouflage uniform. I don't know why, but I would guess that the entire Virginia squad hasn't volunteered to join the military when the Series is over. I am so sick of the casual militarism of our society and it's horrific effects not only around the world but right here at home. So I've suddenly become a Vanderbilt fan.

THAT's how shallow I am.

4. I actually agree with you

Even though it *is* really good looking, I'm so goddamned sick and tired of sports teams wearing digital military camo like it's some kind of fashion statement...Not only that, it clashes with the regular team colors (I'm looking in your direction, Mets -- FFS if you have to wear a digital camo, at least make it the NAVY BLUE one, since that is one of your colors!)

The ONLY sports teams who should be wearing camo are the service academies, or schools like VMI...End of list
