Can only color for about a half an hour as my thumbs are pretty arthritic. But love doing it.

I have seen the adult ones but have not tried them.

I'm not using them to color but to get ideas for embroidery. A blogger I follow, Mary Corbet, did the most wonderful embroidery of a hummingbird pattern from Secret Garden: http://www.needlenthread.com/2014/01/secret-garden-hummingbirds-project-index.html
I've got several of the pictures selected to use for my own projects. I need to do as much embroidery as I can while my hand hold out. But my hand surgeon said it was good therapy after my carpal tunnel surgeries so I do as much as I can every day.

(23,168 posts)Partially color-blind, too, so not a good idea. But (according to my first-grade teacher, who gave me the fail) I was "reading with my age group." (I was reading newspapers and my sister's high-school science book, fer f*ck's sake!) It's been a standing joke in my family for years--the kid who couldn't color but who could solve quadratic equations and did crossword puzzles with a pen before he got to junior high.............
