Why isn't the cat wearing a cone? He should be so that he doesn't like the wound and cause an infection.
Also, I wonder if he was in pain. That's a damn good reason to scream.

(21,204 posts)They may require a single dissolvable stitch. My buddy used to be a stray and when they neutered him, they gave him a tattoo. It looks like the Zodiac Killer's symbol.

I guess that's the international symbol for "no mas cajones".

(130,538 posts)At least, none of my (formerly) boy cats ever had to wear one. There is only a very tiny incision and they use a dissolving suture. Any pain is probably mild and very temporary - my cats didn't seem uncomfortable at all by the time they got home from the vet. They didn't go looking for their 'nads, either.
