First of all, thanks to everybody for their kind wishes.
Second, I went back to my primary care doctor and he said to start taking Plavix. So I did.
That's where we are for now: medicine, no surgery yet.

(55,019 posts)I had a mini-stroke (TIA, transischemic attack) the other day. At least the second one this year. I was hospitalized before.
This time, no hospital stay, just new medicine.

I think hugs from my dog Murphy are going to be even better.

(87 posts)and of course when it finally went generic they switched me to Effient. I also took a regular aspirin 325mg daily- and I was bruising really easily so just be careful.
