I really like L.A. Confidential. That same year had Boogie Nights, which didn't prominently feature the LA landmarks, but was also a terrific movie. Other great LA movies include Chinatown and Mulholland Drive (really weird). I'm sure others will come up with bunches more.

Yes, Mulholland Drive was "different". Mulholland Falls was good too.

The one company "Dearly Departed Tours" has a tour that stops at numerous LA film locations....Although they're most known for a tour showing where celebrities died, they do have several other tours....

Really that movie should have won Best Picture that year. Fuck Titanic.
