This summer I spent some time in Los Angeles and saw some places where it was filmed. That was cool.

(2,900 posts)I really like L.A. Confidential. That same year had Boogie Nights, which didn't prominently feature the LA landmarks, but was also a terrific movie. Other great LA movies include Chinatown and Mulholland Drive (really weird). I'm sure others will come up with bunches more.

(3,168 posts)The one company "Dearly Departed Tours" has a tour that stops at numerous LA film locations....Although they're most known for a tour showing where celebrities died, they do have several other tours....
