A valiant fighter for racial, social, and financial equality. And, of course, a helluva good singer.

Trivia: Robeson played catcher on the Rutgers baseball team and was an All-American football player, at a time when both sports were severely segregated. He even played in the pros. One can imagine the harassment he received.
