but, I generally go to the dollar store. They have gotten insanely expensive everywhere else.

3. It is also National Butterfly and Hummingbird Day!

(I think the hummers have migrated by now though and I only see a random butterfly. I did have a monarch this year and a couple of caterpillars on the milkweed!)

4. I believe

that the hummers are heading south. I know the two (we named them flity & sitty as that is how they would visit the feeder) that we often saw have been gone a couple of weeks now.

There was to be a Monarch thing at the nearby Audubon Center but I believe it was cancelled for the day.
