when it's one character, like Robert DeNiro for Raging Bull or Tom Hanks for Castaway, but if then need an actor that's chunky, why don't they just hire a chunky actor. If then need a reed thin actress, there are plenty they can hire. It makes no sense to me to tell Renee Zellweger to gain weight for Bridget Jones. Just hire a chubby actress!
