Daily Holidays - November 12

National Pizza with the Works Day When faced with the question of “what would you like on your Pizza?”, the pizza novice might answer “everything, please!”. This is a rookie mistake, the correct answer is ‘everything except anchovies!’, at least that’s the case for those of us who aren’t keen on those arguably pizza-spoiling salty fish! Pizza With The Works Except Anchovies Day is all about indulging, but without the anchovies, please. https://www.daysoftheyear.com/days/pizza-with-the-works-except-anchovies-day/

Fancy Rat & Mouse Day Fancy Rat & Mouse Day gives us the opportunity to celebrate these beautiful creatures. Not to be confused with wild (black) rats, the Fancy Rat is the domesticated brown rat; while the Fancy Mouse is the domesticated form of the house mouse. Both can be very smart and affectionate and make ideal pets, particularly for children (especially since there is much less looking after than with a dog, cat or rabbit!). But don’t let that make you think the members of the Fancy Rat And Mouse Association take their Fancy Rats and Mice less seriously than they would take any other pets! Fancy Rat and Mouse breeders and enthusiasts head to California several times a year, where professionally bred varieties are judged on a range of categories. https://www.daysoftheyear.com/days/fancy-rat-mouse-day/

National Chicken Soup for the Soul Day is observed each year on November 12. According to our research, this day was created as day to celebrate who you are, where you have been, where you are going and who you will be thankful to when you get there.

Although neither is "famous," I have two family members with birthdays today. One is my youngest sister and the other is a niece. My late maternal grandmother was also born on Nov 12.

However, years ago when in High School (this being back before dirt was invented ) we used to go to Pizza Hut and order the large supreme (or large garbage as we called it) .
