to eat with vegans and you can't find that in the grocery store. I made this a couple of times - very simple recipe, low fat and NO cholesterol. I think it tastes like the usual version - so don't try it.

vegan cream cheese, vegan cheese, vegan mac n' cheese, vegan sour cream... even more than one brand! If you want to make it from scratch there are recipes and cookbooks. When trying these substitutes it's best to not expect them to be exactly like the conventional dairy since they obviously are made of different ingredients; however the sour cream version comes very close. The Daiya brand of vegan cheese even melts well.

I'm not a vegan but a vegetarian of 25+ years.

I'm not a vegan, nor a vegetarian - but I'm working on the latter.

I eat very little meat, though Thanksgiving threw me off that for a bit.

I've given up bacon, beef, and chicken. I want to give it all up.

their bacon and Grillers burgers are good, as are the breakfast sausages. No cholesterol! They have a couple of chicken patties too. There are also brands of veggie chicken nuggets. Not so much in the way of faux fish though. I do miss fish sometimes.

I love veggies and have never really liked meat. (except for bacon, sigh).

I never thought she'd go vegetarian, but she's on the way.

Any and all suggestions are welcomed.
