The pictures taken by Friendly High School students in Fort Washington show discolored food, moldy bread and meat that appears raw.

I'm pretty sure they didn't think the President would get involved. This was about publicity for the problem because clearly neither the state of MD or the PG County School Board is motivated to do anything about it either. PGC is the poor enclave of suburban MD...it's where all the poor people in DC got pushed to as the city gentrified.
