The contracts are signed. I am the newest member of the WGA!

Eighteen years of shit is over!!!!

I am a Hollywood screenwriter and I have more pieces gaining interest and starting to get writing jobs from studios! I have requests to write three movies.

but I want to bring about awareness of the world around us. Film is a good medium.

Harry Chapin used his fame and money to start something called World Hunger Year. I plan on supporting the things I believe need support: The Innocence Project, the World Wildlife Fund, school arts and humanities departments, real education reform, ending the drug war and getting people like Bernie Sanders elected to office.

Maybe being "more than just a teacher" (as insulting as that is) can help

You've just taken a slightly different path. I think your plans sound so promising. You are so lucky to have found your passion. I'm 52 and figure I'll start a second career when I retire. I love history and would like to do something with that (maybe something with geneology). As a parent, finding a passion to persue is what my ultimate wish is for both my children.
