Just saw STAR WARS VII... Great Movie!

Star Wars for a new generation... darker than the originals - literally and figuratively.

Carrie Fisher, beautiful as Princess Leia, and now even more beautiful as a more mature General Organa.

Thank you, J.J. Abrams. Thank you, Disney! Thank you, George Lucas!

I believe.

... does Jar Jar Binks snap Chewie's scrawny neck?

I always thought Jar Jar could develop into a badass character.

and should not issue spoilers to try to be funny.

But I will spoil that Darth Vader is Luke's father, and Obi Wan is a huge liar.

Or rather what passes for 3-D in this neck of the woods. Been looking forward to this a long time. Can't believe that it's now been about 38 years since I stood in a long line in San Francisco, waiting to see Episode IV!

I was 17 in 1977 and have carried these characters with me my whole life.

No spoilers, but it simply couldn't be better!

I liked the bit when Solo said, "the spice must flow..." and then quickly stepped into the men's room for five minutes.

Going to see it tomorrow afternoon. Much more excited about it than I'd like to admit... but that seems to be my standard reaction to this new crop of JJ Abrams films.

My little tyke came out of the movie theater announcing that it was the "Best movie" he ever saw. That is one of my most precious memories because I made sure he saw it on the first day it was shown in our local movie theaters. He had, at six years old, no idea what movie I was taking him to.
