Here, our earliest sunset is 3:58 pm and occurs around Dec 11.
So, six more minutes of afternoon light!

ps. Only out of power for 14.5 hrs last night due to the ice storm. Could have been much, much worse, indeed.

(15,234 posts)But not this year. Today was our first measurable snowfall and it has actually been warm. The long dark days really get to me though and every extra minute of daylight is a blessing.
