if you want to keep it more swingin'. Bachelor Pad is good, but it can go towards easy listening (not that there's anything wrong with that). Bossa Nova/Tiki/Exotica is a bit too mellow for a party (IMO) but wonderful nonetheless. Also, in a category of his own: Esquivel.
For a bit more modern feel: De-phazz, Mambo Craze; Combusible Edison, Millionaire's Holiday; and Pizzicato Five.
My .02. Hope it's Don Draper worthy.
