Cream Cheese
 Brownie Day This day is made for those who find cream cheese and chocolate irresistible.
The brownie has been around since the 1800?s, but was first documented in 1906 in The Boston Cooking School Cook Book. There are hundreds of cream cheese brownie recipes. We are sure that you will find one that you like. http://www.nationaldaycalendar.com/national-cream-cheese-brownie-day-january-10/

Plimsoll Day Plimsoll Day is to dedicated to the memory of Samuel Plimsoll, a member of the English Parliament who championed sailors’ safety while traveling the world’s waterways in crammed ships. He was instrumental in the amendment of Britain’s Merchant Shipping Act, which came about in response to the then – national problem of dangerously overloaded ships. Plimsoll’s bill, named the Unseaworthy Ships Bill, was passed in 1876, and required that a mark be present on a ship’s hull to indicate the waterline at which maximum cargo capacity was reached for the vessel. https://www.daysoftheyear.com/days/plimsoll-day/

Umbrella Day Umbrellas are a remarkably effective accessory for protecting yourself from wind, rain and sun. Whatever the weather, Umbrella Day is a great excuse to sport a fetching brolly when you’re out and about! https://www.daysoftheyear.com/days/umbrella-day/

so umbrellas are a waste of time for me too. Rain coats are too hot for me so I don't wear one. I am rarely out in a complete downpour so a little rain is just nothing to me now.

"The rain it raineth on the just
And also on the unjust fella;
But chiefly on the just, because
The unjust hath the just’s umbrella."

If you are dead, or undead, you will want to stay in your grave today. Common accessories for the living are shotguns and chainsaws today.
