(5,604 posts)but have heard enough to know. That said, the TV show can go any way it pleases, but Glen has escaped death too many times, and Abe is cracking up.

(96,943 posts)I think that's messing with him. He sees Sasha and he sees a future.
Rosita is kind of the rebound companion, so to speak.
His wife is dead, his children are dead, he has given up on living. Eugene comes along and gives him purpose. Something to latch onto and not think about his family. Rosita was part of that episode - the battle to get to D.C..
I think maybe Abraham is now seeing possibilities, and that's why all the questions about babies and such, and why he's so seemingly self-assured in his opposition to it. He's not really against the idea anymore, he's just fostered a "What's the point?" attitude as a defense mechanism for so long, it's hard to put it down now. I think he's asking questions to compare with things he is already thinking.
I think he's in love with Sasha. He might care for Rosita, but he's in love with Sasha.
Or so it seems to me.
Joe Shlabotnik
(5,604 posts)But I still think it will end tragically for all of them.
Solly Mack
(96,943 posts)Which would play right into Sasha's issues - all the men in her life die.

(56,848 posts)full of big spoilers...
charlie and algernon
(13,447 posts)Highlight to see spoiler speculation: I wonder if the Walking Dead would have the guts to do a Kirkman Remix and show a woman (Maggie or Carol) get beaten with a bat? Even for a show that shows kids getting shot in the head, that may be a bridge too far. Though a podcast I listen to has been saying that Tara and Heath could be candidates for the bat. Afterall, they'd be coming back from their two week mission just in time for the showdown. They've also speculated that the season finale could show Negan doing eeny, meeny, miney, moe, but the screen fades to black just as he gets to moe and we have to wait till next season to find out who got the bat.
NewJeffCT
(56,848 posts)they've actually lightened up the show in a few spots - in the comics, Michonne wasn't just attacked by the Governor, he was raped by her. On the show, Beth attempted suicide, but in the comics, Tyreese's daughter actually hanged herself. (And, the daughter's boyfriend failed to kill himself and was killed when Tyreese found him with his now dead daughter)
That said, they did show the guy that became the Penguin on Gotham dying by baseball bat back at Terminus.
