Interpret my dream.

I had a dream last night where I survived a flood filled with sharks. I was in the woods so I climbed a tree to escape the water and felt excited while looking down at the shark infested mass, I felt no fear, just elation and excitement.

When the water washed away, it left behind hundreds of different kinds of sunglasses. I put on a pair and began walking towards my sisters house which was unexplainably nearby.

What did my dream MEAN?

1. I've heard this said about dreams from a psychologist.

Dreams are about something that you wish would happen, something that has happened, or something that you are afraid is going to happen. I suppose those meanings could overlap as well.

Dreams are highly personal and if any meaning can be gleaned from them at all it is usually only the dreamer who can do so.

is GDP, and your sister's house is the Lounge. The tree is your safe perch behind your computer screen: in the e-maelstrom, but also above it. The water washed away because you made expert use of Ignore/Trash Thread. Sunglasses are because you want new sunglasses, but there are a lot to choose from in the stores and you haven't yet made a selection...

(Caveat: this analysis is worth exactly what you paid for it.)

adorn your new outfit with your favorite sunglasses. Your sister will ridicule your taste in clothes, and this will cause you to drive (in a huff and in your '94 Taurus) into the river.

As you float to the bottom of the river, you'll see cute, hungry baby river sharks all around you, but you'll feel safe and smug in your car. BUT you won't be able to breathe underwater, so yet another little part of your brain will die before your GPS-tracking sunglasses signals help to fish you out of the shark-infested waters.

Because of this event, you'll be reborn and begin a campaign against flea markets. You'll be unsuccessful but passionate. And you'll vote for Trump. You know, because of that brain-dead thing.

That's how I see it, but I'm not a professional dreamer.

Show me your right palm.

You have a long life line, but there is a break in it.
You will have a serious, life threatening illness, but you will recover.

Your love line has three branches, but you will not be married three times.
You will have three serious relationships, two actual formal engagements, but only one marriage.

Your descendant line from your end love line shows two branches.
These are your children, but they will not be twins.
Your son will be born around five years before your daughter.
They will both graduate from Yale.

I hope this has been helpful.

You then put on the Terminator's Wayfarer sunglasses to go defend your sister from any remaining vermin.

Answer that, and I may have an interpretation.

You recently overcame a worrisome or stressful situation which was causing you a great deal of anxiety (flood w/sharks), you are proud of your achievement (looking down at the dangerous situation you got yourself out of), you did this by looking at the situation in a new way (putting on a new pair of sunglasses) walking to your sister's house -- going to confront her? -- not sure here -- what does your sister symbolize for you?
