That photo of the seal in the kelp forest reminded me of one of my open water check out dives when
I was getting PADI certified in California in the mid-80's We took a boat to the channel islands off Santa Barbara.

We were down about 40 feet in a kelp forest and my instructor told me to remove my mask and replace it.
I had my eyes closed while I was doing it, and when I had my mask back on and opened my eyes,
there was a seal--just like your photo--watching us!
