What's worse than an ear worm? How about half an earworm?

I can almost remember this song, and the fragments keep running through my head without coming together into something I recognize!

One of these days I hope there will be an app similar to Shazam, but one which is clever enough to recognise a song when I myself sing just a few bars into the mic.

Or does that exist already? I'm not all that up on these sorts of things.
