My kitty had to be put down, today.

We lost our 14 year old springer spaniel last year from skin cancer. I never really let the emotions out much because of all the other things I am dealing with. Her name was Holly. She was a great companion for so many years.

13 is WAY too young. I am just so sorry.

This is the lounge, at some point most of us have gone through what you are going through. I had to put down my little guy almost a decade ago. Then my old dog passed away in my lap last summer. It's never easy, that's for sure. You are among friends.

I'm so sorry. But you extended the ultimate kindness to her; relief from suffering. It's sure hard to have them go.

She liked to lay on my feet and warm them up.
