So if I can't get Bernie to visit my house

How am I going to coax the finch out of my chimney? He's been trapped in there for an hour (yes, the flue is open).

We have had the musical accompaniment for a couple of weeks of a Flicker (woodpecker) drumming on the sheet metal cap on top of the chimney and chirping loudly for a mate. The finch may have heard this was a good place to meet up.
