remembers the early version of Luke and Laura, Penny and Jeff on As The World Turns. It wasn't the death of Jeff(Mark Rydell) so much but after the car accident Penny (Rosemary Prinze) lost her memory. Boy did she go wild when she regained it. Live TV at it's best. No clip of her meltdown sadly.

I was a little girl and my mom always watched ATWT. I was SO disappointed they killed off Jeff, Mark Rydell. He became a very good movie director.

Without John Amos that show was just another stupid sitcom. Esther Rolle did her best without him, such a waste of talent.
