1. I was just thinking, that I am beginning to like this more because

I am getting backstory on the characters. And, yes, Strand is an interesting fellow. I also like that they are taking time to develop "warmth" between Strand and the other characters.

I think her childhood was less than wonderful or maybe something about her ex.

Maybe a combination of all three.

I like Nick as well the others not so much.

11. I just can't get interested in any of the characters. To me that is the issue. Bland and dumb!

Mom continues to treat her grown children like infants and dad is so weak that he rolls over for everyone - no way any of them deserve to live another day.

I tried - but yeectch - the writing is really lazy and the plots are really lame too. The whole "prisoner exchange" was completely stupid....and they all happily survived to see another episode

Find some better writers or hang it up.
