Nervous Breakdown Update: The Kid is OUT of the Hospital!

I repeat, the kid is out of the hospital! Thanks mightily for all the well wishes and expressions of empathy. He literally ran down the hall to meet us (ah, relative youth and health!) and is now home with every soft, easy to digest substance we could pick up at the grocery store. He can't go to Mother's Day dinner with us but really it's the best gift in the world.

Here's hoping for a long, long stretch of sheer boredom.

What great news, noabear! I'm very happy to know that your son is home again and was even able to run down the hall to meet you when you came for him!
