3. On the Twitter, the producers said they wanted Alicia to become

Like Peter. So instead of her slapping her partner, her partner slapped her.

I'm not sure if Kurt's affair was real or made up, so she's either angry at the wrong person, or she's angry for ruining Kurt's reputation to save Peter. However, Kurt was retired, or had the affair...

You knew Peter was getting away with murder.

I think Jason's not gone, but she'll never own him, either.

It's the story of a survivor and everyone who's out for themselves.

He'll, if everyone else gets to live their lives, why shouldn't Alicia?

This show was great because of the plot twists, and they didn't disappoint!

Hey-real life is unpredictable. This was never a happier ever after fairy tail.

This ending means it'll never be forgotten!

10. It wasn't clear to me exactly when Kurt had the supposedly affair

The other "expert" is someone who had been in his life a long time as someone who participated in the same line of work. So I am not sure when exactly that was supposed to have happened. Was that clear to you? Was it after he became a married man or before?

4. God, I loved that show so much

It is about the only show I watch religiously. I didn't want to face the ending. The writers though gave us a gift when they allowed Will to show up in Alecia's imagination. Just watching that kiss between the two of them reminded me of the chemistry that was always there between the two of them. And that is why she could never choose between Jason and Peter -- neither was Will. He was the one, and he will always be the one.

It was very interesting to watch in one of the scenes between the two of them to see "Will" switch from the romantic to the analytical. When Alecia asked him which one she should choose, he told her to choose Jason.

It was also interesting how the writers so neatly tied up the ending to echo the opening of the show 7 years ago. There she stood, standing by Peter, who was making a painful announcement about his career, as she propped him up. But this time, when he finished speaking and reached for her hand to exit the stage, she had already left to go pursue her own dream. That was our clue she was going to look for Jason, and Peter would be left behind. But is Jason still available?

I hope perhaps there might be a movie or an offshoot somehow with some of the characters. The quality of this show was just superlative in every respect -- the cast, the writing, the production -- just everything. I think this is one of the best shows ever to be on network television, if not the best.

never saw her "son" in this finale episode. he was going to marry that girl. what happened there?

so many ends left hanging. it was not a "finale" in my opinion.

11. Didn't they say they were going to Europe?

They were going to get married, he was going to take a year off, and they would be living in Europe for some time. I thought that was his exit??? Episode before this one last night....

13. Imho, this was never a show that would kill off the characters or send them all away

Our audience has ended, but the characters will live on. I think it was about Alicia becoming her own person, rather than anyone's wife. She's no longer the good wife, and keeping Peter out of prison assures that she'll go through with the divorce.

Kurt and Diane were retiring, anyway. Cary went off to teach. Alicia's kids had plans to go.

I choose to believe that she and Jason will continue to have fun without owning each other.

I really enjoyed every episode. Even Shonda Rimes (Grey's Anatomy) doesn't write such strong women or better plot twists.

15. I think you are correct in saying there was a clear signal Alecia resigned from being The Good Wife

In the last scene (after she was slapped) she walked down that hallway, eventually lifting her head up high, and exited walking alone. She could stand on her own now and did not need to be propped up, or saddled with the responsibility of standing by her man (or should I say former man?).

So sorry to see this show end, but the writers handed in a perfect ending.
