He had some promise in some of his roles, and I saw him possibly developing into a Tom Hanks type--a down to earth everyman.
Then he got caught up in the awful Transformers movies, and then came the even more awful and gratuitous Indiana Jones trainwreck of a sequel, and he seemed to implode in his personal life and sanity at that point.
