2. No I didn't know you could set smilies as hyper link. But I still don't know how to do it.

3. Copy your hyperlink text into the windows clipboard

Then press the link button.

Insert URL text into the popup box, press OK.

Then type the text for the smiley like " : rofl : " (without the spaces or quotes)

Press the /link button

but use square brackets instead of pointy brackets & colons instead of semicolons so that it becomes this:
