Like 99% of the kids in this world, I'd never read nor even heard of the Dahl book until about two weeks ago. "BFG" meant "Big Fucking Gun" and nothing else.

Of course, we'll now see a flood of people swearing that they've known and loved the book since 1982, because that's always how it goes.
