(60,010 posts)On some movie/tv shows set in the past, esp. BBC shows of the Victorian era, I have seen these gorgeous horses with their distinctive high stepping gait, always black, used as carriage and saddle horses in a scene.
Now I know what they are.
Breath taking.....

(30,247 posts)I love horses, but I have never seen a horse like this one. He almost looks too perfect not to be a sculpture. It's not just the mane, look at the muscles under his shiny coat. The fillies must be swooning over this Adonis. He's the Fabio of the horse world.

(15,220 posts)I think he's the "Fabio of the Friesiens" (with full credit to the poster who called him Fabio first).

(5,504 posts)had the chance to visit a farm here in Texas that raised champion Arabians. My husband and I got to walk among them
and some of them would allow you to touch them. We were both almost teary eyed over their beauty and the
almost otherworldly intelligence in their eyes. I've got to tell you the truth, it was an almost sexual, no that's not
the right word..more like sensual...experience...is that weird?
