"Preacher"?

I didn't see a post about the new AMC series, although I could have missed it. Did anyone else watch it? What did you think? I kind of liked it. I like the Tulip character.

Had two eps of FTWD and one of GoT to watch Sunday night.

The preview I saw had a fight scene reminiscent of those on Banshee, so I'm hoping there's a ton of that.

Monty Python meets Quentin Tarantino. I didn't get that when I watched it, though. I mean, I get the QT aspect of it but not so much the MP. It's more of a David Lynch-ish flavor. Still, I liked it. I'll watch.

2. I read the comics way back when, and completely loved them

Haven't felt like that about the TV series yet, at all. Not connecting with how they casted the characters. For some reason, I envisioned Custer being played by Timothy Olyphant... can't seem to get past that, yet.
