My last dog hatred getting wet so much we had to cross tie him the same way we cross tied horses - with a rope on each side each going to a post. Then we could give him a bath.
Since he really liked rolling in smelly stuff he needed baths often and he never ever got used to it.
He'd never have put up with a contraption like in that commercial!

I just cannot imagine how I'd get my dog to hold still like that! And he's pretty fuzzy, too. Rinsing is just not that easy...
