One near us next week. We will plan to attend if weather is OK and something doesn't come up

1. Yup. I live within walking distance of where the block party is held.

I keep thinking that I need to check it out when they have the live concert. They have had some pretty good acts over the years.

Walking with my church for about the 20th year or so in a row. It's a great time, I love seeing all the people, and although we don't get quite the cheer of the PFLAG folks (who deserve it more anyway), it's wonderful to show publicly what a welcoming, open and affirming congregation looks like.

Oh yeah, it's also fun to see the fundamentalist protesters have to process our presence. Usually brings them up short for a few moments. At least, when they have the guts to show up.

3. Yes. The HMO I work for was looking for volunteers..

To work our booth. I almost signed up the other day. Checking tomorrow to see if they still need help.

Pride Month itself kind of belongs to SF.
