an absolutely fantastic job. He was brilliant.

On the other hand I got one City manager (technically my boss) fired after exposing his corruption (evidence chain a mile long), and gave counsel to 'encourage the resignation' of a subsequent City manager who had really lost his spark. The advice was well heeded, and the following City manager, who I whole-heartedly endorsed, has remained in place for almost 15 years now, and is an absolute star.
