Low impact workouts - wall push up

I mentioned the stomach crunch that you can do with the price of a towel, but there is another cheap exercise.

To do it correctly, face the wall, and push off, letting your upper body take the force.

When you go back in, allow your shoulders to take the weight but don't crash and fold into the wall.

It's pretty easy to do, and will help with developing your shoulders and arms, while not promoting injury.

Please get a spotter to stand by in case you get dizzy or unbalanced. I can't emphasize enough how important it is to have a workout buddy.

Good luck!

as part of a PT program. As my shoulder got moving better I gradually moved my feet away from the wall. Moving your feet away increases the weight your shoulders and arms bear.
