The Fortress of Solitude, DU.3 version....

Its been a while since I posted some pic's, so here you go. In this room you will notice that I have next to no Marvel, Star Wars, GI Joe, or Heman(or other Genre) type of toys...thats because I have collected too much, and those toys are in my main bedroom.

I took these pictures about two months ago:

And here is just a random pic:

A hand drawn Batman from the 70's from a DC artist that I have to look up and a mess of comics from the 60's, 70's, and the new DC 52...

Your collection is very impressive indeed...

the 90's to current day. I have a handful of 80's toys, mostly GI Joe, and Hemans. From the DC universe I have a Superman, Batman, Green Lantern from their Superfriends run in the early 80's. I believe the only thing I have that's older is a Star Wars Storm Trooper, and Sand People.

I'm to the point now ,that I'm very choosey on the toys I get because of limited space so I try to limit myself to figures that I don't have, like a decent Solomun Grundy, Eradicator, and Black Adam.

I started buying comics in 64 and started to avidly collect in 66...

I had a whole shit load of early comic books from the silver age including Superman 42, Spiderman number 1, Avengers number 3-66, Silver Surfer number 1. But my favorite was the Neil Adams Green Lantern/Green Arrow series.

The spidey number 1 wasn't in great condition. Talking to a dealer a few months ago and he said a so so copy of spiderman number 1 would be worth a couple hundred at best. It was tatered when I bought it from a kid when spiderman was on I think issue 28 or 29. I paid 35 cents for it.

Anyway, when I started smoking pot I sold my collection to buy drugs. I think I got about $300 for the whole thing, about 350 comics.

I started buying comics again and now have a decent if not spectacular collection that is worth a couple hundred dollars at best.

i like the new DC 52. It's great artwork.

If I were you, I mark all the stuff up, price wise, box it and rent a table at the next available Comic Con.

And I'm a man who has 10,000 comic books, my damn self.

However, since my books aren't in mint condition, I plan on giving them away to some young nephews.

You, however, have a gold mine on your hands.
