I passed Martha's, the best ice cream place in the area, and always consider stopping, though it's the busy season now. Before the summer's over, I'll have to stop at least once this year, and strawberry's my choice if I get a sundae to go - or a cone if coffee is one of the flavors of the day... 
It's called Fritz's and has the outside tables and is just across from a small park where the overflow crowd can go. Nearby is my favorite Donut shop. Old Town Donuts which I pass each day on my commute. It's hard not to stop everyday there, but I limit myself to once or twice a month, taking in donuts for the co-workers (helps me not eat too many).
