(43,226 posts)I had no idea that it was still even a thing, and had no idea what this Pokémon Go deal was until everyone started mentioning it this weekend.
I still don't really understand what it's about nor do I really care to, but I still managed to be annoyed by people talking about it.

(7,346 posts)Does the game place them randomly, or do people place them, or what? If they get captured, are they gone, or can others also capture the same one?
I still have some Pokemon stuff from when my son was a kid, wonder if it will have any value now?

I believe they are "there" only on your phone screen.

(7,346 posts)Are they on the phones of everybody in that vicinity? and if someone captures it, does it go away for everyone else?

(16,391 posts)He was looking at his cell phone the entire time searching for Pokemon monsters and almost EVERY OTHER KID and young adult we passed doing the same thing. It was surreal. Son was walking slightly ahead of me, running into low-hanging branches and posts.
