We were mostly bareboating a 37 foot O'Day out there near shipping channels
We did sail on the Chesapeake with a 17 foot Day Sailor from time to time. I'm a senior citizen now and also missing it, now some twenty-five years back. My ex used to do some sport-fishing, also, and his experience near the big freighters was the same as yours.
