Pokémon Go tragedy strikes

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2016/08/01/pokmon_go_tragedy_strikes/

Twitter was awash with the tears of Pokémon Go hunters today after an update appeared to reset their game and erased three weeks of hard work.

Users jumped onto the social media platform to reveal the tragic news with one, Nikki Peele, telling her followers, “I lost my Pokemon and all the money I put into the game… trying to stay calm”.

Pokémon Go was released on 6 July and has since enriched the lives of 9.5 million daily active users, while leaving the rest of the world scratching its head over what all the fuss is about.

I had no idea you could put money into it, ya learn something new every day! Good luck, Ms. Peele.

1. If I lost money I'd be VERY upset. If they don't get the kinks out of the game, noone will

lucky eggs, and incubators.

I loaded my daughter and her friend up with $100 iTunes gift cards to use with Pokemon Go for the week. I figured it was the least I could do for our friend's birthday and the fact that room, meals, beach passes were all included.

They went to Atlantic City with some hardcore conservative family members. Somehow, they got the pent house suite at some big fancy schmancy hotel on the boardwalk (5 bedrooms, a kitchen, LR, DR, etc.). I'm figuring the girls (the only 2 post teens there) will want to be out and about as much as they can -- away from the conservative Glen Beck/Rush Limbaugh spewing relatives (who fight like cats/dogs).... AND so they don't get rooked into providing free babysitting services.

It's a neat game. I like playing. My husband has a rather addictive personality and he's very competitive. It's not such a fun game when he's playing. On the other hand, he got in 22K steps the other day. We updated the game, thank goodness it didn't reset us - I'm level 23!

is fun, but it is stupid glitchy. It sometimes takes forever to load, and the game occasionally freezes when I'm about to catch something. I still go out with it every few days, though. Right now, all I do is hunt for Pokemon. I'm not interested in the gym fights.

5. You can also get coins by leaving one of your pokemanz in a gym

find a gym ruled by your team and, if there's room, you can leave one of yours there to defend it. You also get to collect 10 coins for the service - even if your guy gets his pokeass beat. He will return to you later. You can do this multiple times a day from what I understand.

On a side note, I caught a Ponyta in Belize City last week. lol.

Logged people out and forced you to make a new character if you click the wrong login option. The good news is that if you log back out and then login properly everything is restored.

I was one of the people that had to make a character just to get to the logout screen and login properly. It was concerning for the competitor in me - as my 7 year old and I compete against my husband and our 6 year old. But all is now well and we are still in the lead

It's very nice for family walks and dog walking trips.
