extended family this very question.

I got a half dozen earnest answers from these young lads, who were eagerly waving cards with cartoons on them and telling me what these characters could do.

Now those very same kids are out of college, and wandering around the cities of the globe looking at their cellphones for those characters that were on the cards!! And I STILL don't get it!!

The one bright spot is that it gets them off their asses--there was one old guy (and by old, I mean he was old enough to be closer to AARP than Bachelor of Arts-but a whippersnapper compared to me!!) on television yesterday who was boasting that he'd lost ten pounds since getting involved in the game! Whatever 'it' is!!!!

Some people that don't have unlimited plans are receiving a surprise in the mail or when they check online.

looking for Pokemons (cartoon monsters) which will appear superimposed on whatever your phone's camera shows. You try to catch them by throwing a "ball" at them. It sounds stupid and it probably is but I get a kick out of it. You don't have to be a kid, either. I'm collecting Social Security.

based around catching, training and fighting monsters. The idea came to Tajiri thinking about his fondness of catching insects as a collection.

if you thought idiots with their handhelds were assholes, now you can see entire GROUPS of them

Seems that many of them didn't realize you could actually GO FOR A WALK prior to Pokeman Go

We live on the edge of a public park and a trail many high school kids use to and from school.

My youngest kid, visiting from the city, say's thar be Pokemon nearby

There is a map and general area certain pokemon are located. Goal was to try to locate them in the wild. The pokemon "evolve" like Pikachu into Riachu and become better fighters you can use to catch more Pokemon. There were 151 monsters with some of them extremely rare such as Mewtew.
