(135,425 posts)because he's got that bit of padding!
Actually, if he wanted to do the "desperate Hollywood" thing, it would take next to nothing to turn him into "older leading man" material. His face is in very good shape, his skin is youthful, he'd just need to give that chin a little of that injection melt business and maybe do a little neck lift.
And, as Donald Trump will tell you, it's OK to carry a few extra pounds if you're a man--that means you're "successful." It's only the women who merit shaming for straying from perfection in their appearance...!
Note to jury: This post is ironic. It is mocking, not in any particular order, Hollywood beauty standards, Donald Trump, and gender-based beauty imperatives.

(135,425 posts)Gone forever are the days where people would fall to their knees at how damn attractive I was!
Oh, wait--that's just my imagination!
But I wouldn't complain about a thing if I could have the face and physique I had in my 20's, 30's or even 40's!
It's only been 10 years since "Stargate" ended. He was the main reason I liked that show in the beginning. But I haven't kept up with what he's been doing since. I recognize him now, his features have, let's say, rounded a bit (plus the glasses).
I went to my high school reunion two weeks ago. Saw some people, including old best friends, I hadn't seen since the 80s. Yes - people look different as they age...sometimes drastically!

I know who it is and he's fine. He's just not leading-man pretty anymore.
