6 weeks from Halloween, list any paranormal experiences you've had.....

I've had a few:

The 1st when I was about 5 months old. My parents, my brother and me were visiting my grandma. My grandfather had died the previous year. Mom put me to bed in a bassinet on the 2nd floor, my brother asleep on the couch. Dad had gone out with brothers in law. Mom heard me making baby noises & footsteps coming from the 2nd floor. She asked grandma what was going on, and grandma said don't worry that's just your dad visiting his granddaughter. It makes sense as mom miscarried twice between my brother and me and grandpap knew that & was probably happy for mom & dad.

The 2nd, I was 4. We moved to a new house. I was investigating, went to the 2nd floor and went into the bedroom on the left. I told mom that I loved my bedroom, it was so pretty. She asked me to show it to her, I went upstairs with her & there was no bedroom on the left, just a solid wall. All the bedrooms were down a hall on the right.

The 3rd, I was about 8 or 9. We were in a new home. Mom asked me to get something from her bedroom. When I entered the bedroom, there was a woman laying on the bed, beckoning me to come to her. I flew down the stairs, getting my dad, he ran up the stairs, me behind him. There was nothing on the bed. It was perfectly made up. This house was about 100 years old at that time.

The 4th, I was 10. We were having breakfast. We all saw dad coming to the house from the backyard. Mom, said what's going on, he should be at work. I said "he fell". Dad did fall, he fell down an open manhole.

A lot of incidents, where I can finish your thoughts, sentences for you. Used to freak out of one of my bosses with this. His response usually was "how did you know I was going to ask that?"

There was no dial tone. I said 'hello?'. The girlfriend I was going to call was on the other end.
And no, we hadn't planned to call each other and didn't regularly do so.

When I was pregnant with my oldest son, my husband and I planned a trip to Vienna and Italy. This was 1986. The week before we were going to leave,
Reagan bombed Tripoli. There was a lot of anti-American protesting in Europe. A man put his pregnant girlfriend on an El Al flight at Heathrow and put
a bomb in her carry-on luggage (which was found before the flight).

I told my husband: I can't do it. I can't go. I had a premonition of something awful going to happen. We had spent a lot of money on tickets--but I just had an overwhelming feeling that I didn't want to go.
We were living in L.A. at the time. So we flew the segment to JFK, got off the plane and drove south touring Civil War battlefields to end up in Atlanta (which
had been planned at the end of our trip to Europe) for his attendance at a professional conference.

We found out during the trip that Chernobyl had blown at the time we would have been in Vienna. I would have gotten a huge dose of radiation from the fallout--not quite 5 months pregnant--
and who knows what that would have meant to the baby?

and he was...on a boat just off the Coast; exactly where I pointed, when I pointed
and I found out when they arrested him a few days later that I had made a weird, but correct prediction.

3. Not sure if this qualifies ... but when I was a kid

My family and I were traveling in our car, when we saw, something streak across the sky and then it doubled back.

Not an object really, more like a Ribbon of bright colors. The next day, it was reported over several states in the newspapers, and was called an Unidentified flying Object. We saw no object, but did see the trail, and according to the newspapers, no rockets had been fired from any military bases, no testing.

We will never know what it was. My family checked the newspapers for a week after that, and no further information was available. It was so long ago, but I still kind of remember, it was green, blue and red. Not a Rainbow, but the streak was very bright. I have since seen the photos of the Northern lights, and it was nothing like that..

I am sure I was about 13 years old at the time. My dad had pulled the car off the road and we got out to watch it. It seemed to fall across the sky, than made a U-turn very slowly and doubled back until it went to the horizon. There were few clouds in the sky and out on this small patch of road, we could see lots of Stars.

I will probably never know what it was, nor was it ever discussed after the reporting. I have seen Comets, including the Halle-Bopp comet in 1995..and it was nothing like that either.

Guess We will never know.

I was in my mid-thirties (early 2000's I think). Camping way off the beaten path, only me and the dog. I'd smoked some pot, was feeling super relaxed and the pooch and I were both laying against a tree, her head on my lap.

She began to whine, got up and quickly paced around the tree then bolted into the tent. I was think "you little coward... you've gotten spooked by a raccoon or a..." and then a great, black shadow filled all open sky I could see through the tree canopy. Not dark mind you, but black. Deep black. The summer temps went down by ten or fifteen degrees in almost an instant.

I wasn't alarmed or concerned to be honest, but I could feel every hair on my arm and back of my neck raising. Then a long (relatively) wail, like that of a banshee from above.

And in the space of five seconds, the whole thing was over without fanfare or climax. The dog came out of the tent, tail between her legs looking as though she'd just peed in an inappropriate place, and laid down beside me again. I sat there for ten minutes trying to be rational. I gave up on that and realized I'd probably never know what actually happened.

Paranormal? I don't know. But it was one of "those things" I can't explain and won't ever forget.
