I use it myself and every month I get an email update on my credit scores. And it doesn't cost a penny.

...with my social security number, which they need to get your credit history and the site is a prime target for hackers. The site is free, but you have to wonder how they make money. Presumably they sell advertising. Anyhow most larger credit card companies have your credit score at their on-line site.

...in post #2 and one of the reviews said they sell your personal information, again making it a prime target for hackers. Remember Ashley Madison, the cheating site, was hacked and personal information of members were stolen leading to wave of extortion e-mails. The safest way to get around in the internet is to not put your personal information out there to start with.
