Anyone Else Nervous and How Are You Dealing With It?
I was raised by an overly pessimistic mother and have anxiety disorder/depression, so I am pretty much a nervous wreck. Yes I know we should win handily tonight but I am still jumping out of my skin. I am on disability, so don't have a lot of money and hate to drive so it's just me and the dog til about 7 tonight when my sister has promised to come sit with me.
Anyone else feeling this way and how do you deal? Any tips?

4. I think it's "normal" for all of us who want this so badly to be apprehensive.
I'm confident, but I don't want to be overly-confident.
Distract yourself as best you can until you have your sister with you to visit and discuss the evening's events. You're going to be okay. You're on the RIGHT side of this equation!!! Go, Hillary! |

11. I also have an anxiety disorder.
I think you and I are dealing with the same thing. I went on medication a month ago, and hopefully will go off soon. I don't usually take anything. This election has really been difficult for me, and I'm certain anyone dealing with anxiety/depression. I go to yoga, walk, garden, and do much better if busy.
Be kind to yourself. Try not to let your mind intrude on your peace. |

11. I've doubled my anti-depressant.
I was supposed to be taking this much anyway, but over the last couple of years I've tapered down. Now I'm back up to my full dose again. Oh well.

12. I was in denial. Hoping Trump would go back to the center.
Seems he is going conservative to protect himself from impeachment. That guy changes his stripes depending who he is most scared of. I'm getting nervous. I was online last night looking up evolutionary psychology forums. Even those are segregated by political affiliation. Seems science has/will be cleaved. What sort of world will we be living in when science is not science?
