Happiness is a new TV.

My very old TV gave up the ghost months ago.
So I moved a small 22 inch TV from the dining room into my bedroom.
Sounded like a good idea, right?
My old eyes didn't agree. When I couldn't read the closed captioning at night (didn't want to disturb anyone) my viewing day was over.

Thanks to Black Friday and an unexpected day's work I now have a huge TV in my bedroom.

I had no idea how many details I was missing. [img][/img]

We still had our old old tv's from years ago when we got LED computer screens for the desktops, and I found I could not see the old tv screens as well.
Our solution eventually was to donate the old tv sets, we get enough entertainment online.

But...I was looking at my neighbor's new flat screen a couple months ago, she is a sports fan and had football on, was really impressed by the sharp detail and how much easier it was to watch, and how darn cheap the flat screen sets are these days.

We picked up a 40" flat screen for $219.

The old Quasar was purchased new in 1985.
